Meet Our Team » Keith Dintelmann
Growing up in the green industry, Keith never really considered doing anything else, he knew where he was supposed to be. Starting at the age of 12, he filled holes where B&B trees had been dug for $1 a day. He also spent time wrapping seedling grafts, hoeing fields to control weeds, and trimming residential landscapes. Growing up he learned the value of hard work, good plant care, and the right way to treat plants. He gained many valuable experiences in landscape sales, landscape design, and construction. Here at Home Nursery, Keith wears many hats. He oversees numerous departments including: daily operations of both of our distribution centers, shipping operations, inventory, and our purchase plant department. Keith works hard for Home Nursery because he enjoys what he does and he feels like everyone at Home Nursery is more than just his coworkers, we are family. Keith is proud to be Home Nursery’s representative to the industry through his role as plant buyer, where business is still done the old-fashioned way with a hand shake over a glass of iced tea. Currently, Keith serves on the Illinois Green Industry Association (IGIA) Growers Committee. He is a proud graduate from the University of Illinois with a bachelor of science in Ornamental Horticulture.
Joined the Home Nursery family in December of 1994.
