Meet Our Team » Chloe Smith
Chloe’s passion for plants started in her childhood in her grandma’s gardens and has not since faltered. She earned a degree in Horticulture at the University of Illinois and interned at Home Nursery as a college student in 2017. Chloe has always been most passionate about herbaceous perennials, specifically natives, and is engrossed in the “new perennial movement” being advanced by horticulturists like Piet Oudolf and Roy Diblik. She loves the people and passion of the green industry and is honored to have served as President of the Landscape and Nursery Association of Greater St. Louis (LNAGSL) in 2023 and 2024. Chloe has also had experience working at a local garden center, as an intern at the Berkshire Botanical Garden in Massachusetts, and as a landscape designer in St. Louis. When she is not doing something with plants, Chloe enjoys baking, thrifting, scrapbooking, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and their big spoiled dog, Oliver.
